The newly installed parklet on Elizabeth Street in Prahran was a great hit last weekend, attracting local community and market-goers who were keen to take a load off, mid-shop at the Prahran Markets.
The parklet, located just outside the entrance to the Markets, is complete with private nooks and seating, and is hard to miss with its brightly coloured shapes and planter boxes. Children and families gathered to check out this brand new space, enjoyed face painting, and musical entertainment.
Due to the success of last weekend’s parklet launch, the Elizabeth Street parklet will offer fun activities for the kids and some great entertainment between 10am and 1pm every Saturday until August.
