Residents have just a few more days to become a 2023 season subscriber at the Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre (DRTCC).
Following the launch of the 2023 Season program in November, subscriptions have been saving patrons up to $36 as well as discounts on food and accommodation they receive as part of the subscriber benefits.
Packed with provocative, edgy works, as well as some popular classics, the 2023 season also boasts a nationally touring musical with 16 cast members including a five-piece band.
Manager Dubbo Regional Theatre and Convention Centre Linda Christof said they had been delighted by the take-up on subscriptions, showing that, following the last few years of shutdowns, patrons are ready to be entertained and explore an array of shows.
“The diversity they are including in their subscription packages highlights that they have embraced the season theme – dare to be different,” Ms Christof said.
Residents have until 6 January to secure a subscription to their favourite shows, select their preferred seats and save money in the process.
Subscriptions are available on-line, in person at the Box Office or over the phone.
After 6 January, all tickets are available for sale to the general public and while there may be still a chance to secure a subscription after this time, ticket and seat availability will reduce.
“If you think you will go to three or more shows during the next 12 months then a Season Subscription is for you. Think of it like a membership fee where you receive the first three shows for free and further discounts for other shows that you buy throughout the year. With the cost of living rising with food, fuel and other commodities, it is a good investment to make for life balance and well-being,” Ms Christof said.
“Top runners so far include Umbilical Brothers, Multicultural Comedy Gala and Wharf Revue – Looking for Albanese, drama with Death of a Salesman, musical The Sunshine Club and local production Jesus Christ Superstar with all of the other productions following closely.”
