Police are investigating after a pedestrian was fatally struck by a car in Chelsea this morning.
Emergency services were called to the collision in a car park near the intersection of Avondale Avenue and Nepean Highway about 11.15am.
The yet to be formally identified female pedestrian was treated by emergency services but died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries.
Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will investigate the exact circumstances surrounding the collision.
