Pedestrian hit by car at Parramatta 13 June, NSW

A woman has been hospitalised after being hit by a car in Sydney’s west today.

Just after 2.30pm (Saturday 13 June 2020), emergency services were called to the car park of a shopping centre off Campbell Street, Parramatta, following reports a pedestrian had been hit by a Honda sedan.

The pedestrian, a woman aged in her 70s, was seriously injured and was treated by paramedics. She has been taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

The male driver was uninjured. He has also been taken to hospital to undergo mandatory testing.

Officers from Parramatta Police Area Command attended and will investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
