Pedestrian incident at Windsor

Police investigating a serious pedestrian incident in Windsor earlier today are appealing for witnesses.

At 5pm, a 26-year-old man was struck by a vehicle as he left a hotel on Lutwyche Road.

The man was attempting to cross the southbound lanes when he was struck, before colliding with a second vehicle which had stopped at traffic lights.

He was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with critical injuries.

The 34-year-old male driver of the first vehicle was transported to hospital and treated for shock.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has dash cam footage of the area at the time, to contact them.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
