People reminded to chill as cold front hits Blue Mountains

With a series of cold fronts predicted to hit NSW bringing high wind, rain and snow authorities are reminding people to think carefully about the need to travel for their safety.

Many national parks including Abercrombie River, Kanangra Boyd, Turon and Marrangaroo may be affected by heavy rain and snow in places as the fronts pass through.

This means many river-crossings will likely be higher than normal and combined with cold and icy conditions people are being urged to consider their need to travel.
