Council is still reviewing the changes made by the State Government last week in relation to the Victorian Housing Statement.
Today we notice that a social media message has been issued from the Premier about not needing a permit for second dwellings, tiny homes and dependent persons units.
Until the changes to the planning controls come through from the State, the current planning controls apply, particularly for Dependent Persons Units.
We welcome more information from the State on any changes to planning controls for second dwellings and Tiny Homes.
Once we hear more from the State, we will keep you posted.
