Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 20 September 2020

Sales activity decreased one per centin Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 826 transactions.

This decrease can be attributed to afive per cent rise in house sales, 10 per cent fall in unit sales and 19 percent fall in vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 10,686 properties for sale in Perth at the end of this week, which is inline with last week.

A closer look at listing stock levelsshows house listings remained stable, listings for units increased by one percent and listings for vacant land increased by one per cent.

This week’s total figure is one per cent lower than levels seen four weeks agoand are 23 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were3,028 properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week, which is twoper cent less than last week.

This week’s rental listings figure isnine per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and are 52 per cent lowerthan levels seen a year ago.
