Perth Market Snapshot for week ending 6 September 2020

Sales activity increased 11 per centin Perth this week, with REIWA members reporting 916 transactions.

This increase can be attributed to atwo per cent rise in house sales, 19 per cent rise in unit sales and 48 percent rise in vacant land sales over the week.

Properties for sale

There were 10,624 properties for sale in Perthat the end of this week, which is oneper cent less than last week.

A closer look at listing stock levelsshows house listings decreased by two per cent, listings for units remainedstable and listings for vacant land decreased by two per cent.

This week’s total figure is one per cent lower than levels seen four weeks agoand are 23 per cent lower than levels seen a year ago.

Perth rental market

REIWA members reported there were3,132 properties for rent in Perth at the end of this week, which is twoper cent less than last week.

This week’s rental listings figure is12 per cent lower than levels seen four weeks ago and are 53 per cent lowerthan levels seen a year ago.
