Sales transactions in Perth last week were down 6.2 per cent on the previous week, with REIWA members reporting 631 transactions. A closer look shows house sales were down 12.7 per cent compared to the week prior while unit sales were up 3.1 per cent and land sales were up 28.6 per cent.

There were 5,574 properties for sale in Perth at the end of last week, which is 4.6 per cent higher than the previous week. This can be attributed to house listings increasing 6 per cent compared to the week prior and unit listings increasing 3.3 per cent but listings for vacant land decreased 3.9 per cent.
Last week’s total figure of properties available for sale is 21.1 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 34.5 per cent higher than levels seen a year ago.
In Perth’s rental market, REIWA members reported there were 2,356 properties for rent in Perth at the end of last week, which is 1.6 per cent up on the week prior. Last week’s rental listings figure is 4.9 per cent higher than four weeks ago and 1.8 per cent higher than a year ago.

REIWA members reported 562 properties leased last week, which is 9.4 per cent lower than the previous week, 12.2 per cent lower than four weeks ago and 14.6 per cent lower than a year ago.
