Appointments – Business Member – Companies Auditors Disciplinary Board

Australian Treasury

The Albanese Government has appointed Mr Enrico (Ric) De Santi as a part‑time Business Member of the Companies Auditors Disciplinary Board (CADB) for a three‑year term.

The CADB is an independent statutory body established under Part 11 of the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001. It plays an important role to maintain confidence in Australia’s auditing profession by considering applications from the Australian Securities and Investments Commission and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority relating to the conduct of registered company auditors.

Mr De Santi has extensive experience in audit, public sector governance and risk management, including more than 15 years as Deputy Auditor‑General of Tasmania. He has an established record of service across a range of board and audit committee appointments and brings deep expertise in financial reporting, audit, accountability frameworks and governance reform.

This appointment ensures the CADB retains a strong mix of legal, regulatory, governance and commercial expertise to support its role in upholding confidence in the auditing profession and the integrity of Australia’s corporate regulatory framework.

The Government thanks Ms Kerrie Howard for her dedicated service and valuable contribution to the CADB over the last decade and wishes her well in her future endeavours.
