Wollongong’s Botanic Garden blasts off these school holidays with a trip aboard the new Gardens of the Galaxy program, daily from 8 to 12 July.

  • Cosmic Crafts

Wollongong Botanic Garden Curator [Acting] Karen Holmes said the school holiday programs are planned around an environmental theme, include interactive and hands-on activities, and are focused on teaching kids about the natural environment and sustainability.

The cost is $13 per child or $24 for a family group of two or more children, children must be accompanied by an adult with no cost for supervising adults. Activities start at 10am and run till 1pm. Entry to the Garden is free.

Sausage sizzle sandwiches will be available for purchase from the Lions Club and there’s an on-site coffee van, Garden Grounds Café, which also has drinks and snacks available for purchase.
