Police appeal for information following assault in Hunters Hill

Police are appealing for information following an assault last month in Hunters Hill.

About 5.40pm Saturday 10 June 2023, police were called to bus stop on Gladesville Road, Hunters Hill, following reports of an assault.

Officers attached to Ryde Police Area Command arrived to find a 32-year-old woman with facial injuries.

She was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Royal North Shore hospital in a stable condition.

Police were told the woman had allegedly been assaulted by an unknown man before a bystander intervened; the man then left scene.

Police established a crime scene and launched an investigation into the incident.

As inquires continue police are looking to speak with a man who may be able to assist police in their investigation.

He is described as being of a Caucasian appearance, aged between 20 – 30 years old, 178cm tall and having short brown hair.

At the time of the incident, he was seen wearing a green jacket, black pants and black shoes.
