Police Appeal To Locate Boy Missing From Bankstown 4 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s southwest.

Riyan Ayas, aged 11, was last seen at Paul Keating Park, Bankstown, about 6.30pm on Thursday (2 July 2026).

When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified today (Friday 3 July 2026) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Riyan is described as being of Asian appearance, about 150 tall, of slim build, and with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a black jumper, black Under Armor track pants, and grey Nike shoes.

He is known to utilise public transport and frequents the Paul Keating Park, Bankstown Central, and Chullora Marketplace areas.
