Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
Joshua Gane, aged 14, was last seen on Archer Street, Chatswood, about 11am yesterday (Thursday 17 September 2026).
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Northern Beaches Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Police and family hold concerns for Joshua’s welfare as he requires regular medication.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 185cm tall, of slim build, with brown curly hair.
Joshua was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, a black shirt, black jeans, black shoes and carrying a black backpack.
He is known to frequent the Chatswood, Hornsby, Fairlight, and Newcastle areas.
