Police appeal to locate boy missing from Eastern Suburbs

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Talal Matar, aged 17, was last seen on Bronte Road, Waverley, about 7pm today (Sunday 21 January 2024).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Talal’s welfare as he lives with autism.

Talal is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 165cm tall with medium build, and short curly red hair.

He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, bright blue shorts, thongs and glasses.

Police believe he may have walked toward Paddington.
