Police appeal to locate man missing from Campsie 22 July

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from the Campsie area.

Dedi Gunawan, aged 83, was last seen at a hospital on Canterbury Road, Campsie, about 8pm yesterday (Friday 21 July 2023).

When he failed to return and could not be contacted, officers from Campsie Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for his welfare due to this being out of character.

He is described as being of Asian appearance, 175cm tall, of a thin build, with grey hair and brown eyes.

Dedi was last seen wearing a light brown jacket, dark grey pants, white shoes and glasses.

He is known to frequent the Earlwood, Canterbury, Campsie and Artarmon areas.

Anyone with information of his whereabouts is urged to contact Campsie Police Area Command or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 immediately.
