Police appeal to locate man missing from Chatswood 17 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing From Chatswood.

Yong Qiang Lin, aged 59, was last seen at a home on De Villiers Avenue, Chatwood, about 4.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 16 January 2024)

When he failed to return and could not be located, officers from North Shore Police Area Command were notified last night and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Family and police hold concerns for Yong’s welfare as his disappearance is out of character.

Yong is described as being of Asian appearance, about 170cm tall, of medium build, with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a yellow, brown, and pink striped short sleeved shirt, black pants and black ‘New Balance’ shoes.

Anyone who sees Yong or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Chatswood Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
