Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s Inner West.
Andre Elton, aged 67, was last seen leaving Concord Hospital, Concord, about 1pm on Monday (12 February 2024).
When he failed to return and could not be located, officers from Burwood Police Area Command were notified yesterday (Tuesday 12 February 2024) and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Andre lives with dementia and diabetes and police hold concerns for his welfare due to required ongoing medical treatment.
Andre is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 175cm to 180cm tall, of medium build, with grey short hair, a moustache and brown eyes. He walks with a limp.
He was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, dark pants and carrying a black backpack.
Andre is previously known to frequent the Ashfield and Carlingford areas.
