Police appeal to locate man missing from Haymarket

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney CBD.

Richard Sheridan, aged 32, was last seen leaving at a shopping centre on Hay Street, Haymarket, about 3.10pm on Friday (9 February 2024).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Richard’s welfare due to his medical condition.

He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 160-165cm tall, of a solid build, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He was last seen wearing a whit t-shirt, grey denim jeans, a dark blue baseball cap, brown shoes and sunglasses.

He is known to frequent the Redfern, Haymarket, and Darlinghurst areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to contact nearest police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
