Police appeal to locate man missing from Maclean

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man reported missing from the state’s North Coast.

Daniel Copeland, aged 40, was last seen on River Street, Maclean, about 15km west of Yamba, about 4.30pm on Sunday 3 September 2023.

When he could not be located, officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare.

Daniel is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, of stocky build, with a blonde mohawk, and a full right-arm sleeve tattoo.

He was last seen wearing cowboy-style boots, footy shorts and a green long sleeve shirt with black hoodie.

He is known to frequent the Maclean and Yamba areas.
