Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney 4 August

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney.

Gary Liebe, aged 57, was last seen at the Circular Quay Ferry Wharfs, Sydney, about 2pm yesterday (Thursday 4 August 2023).

When he was unable to be contacted or located, officers from Sydney City Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns about his welfare as he lives with dementia.

Gary is described as being of Caucasian appearance, 180cm tall, of a medium build, grey hair and facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a black beanie, blue denim jacket, grey pants and white shoes.

Gary is believed to be in the Sydney area however travels frequently on public transport.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Sydney City police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
