Police appeal to locate man missing from Sydney’s west 5 May

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing from Sydney’s western suburbs.

Shane O’Connor, aged 65, last seen at a home on Caryle Crescent, Cambridge Gardens, about 12am this morning (Friday 5 May 2023).

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Shane’s welfare as he lives with dementia, requires daily medication and has limited mobility.

Shane is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180-185cm tall, with solid build, and grey hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, black jacket and black and grey stiped pyjamas pants.

Shane may also be driving a silver Toyota Corolla with NSW registration plates CIT98N.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
