Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a man missing near Newcastle.
George Ragan, aged 57, was last seen at a business on Sandgate Road, Shortland, just before 1pm today (2 January 2024)
Officers from Newcastle City Police District were notified this afternoon about his disappearance and immediately commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Family and police hold concerns for George’s welfare.
He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall, thin build, with brown hair.
George was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, black sneakers and a black cap.
He is known to frequent the Newcastle area.
