Police appeal to locate missing boy at Woy Woy

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from the Central Coast.

Quade Whitton, aged 8, was last seen in Dwyer Street, Woy Woy, around 7.30pm today (Sunday 24 September 2023).

When he was unable to be located, he was reported missing to officers from Brisbane Police District who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Quade’s welfare due to his young age and living with autism.

Quade is described as being of Caucasian appearance with short brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a grey and green Minecraft hoodie, camouflage shoes and carrying a red bag.

Quade is fascinated by the water, if members of the public would be kind enough to check the local waterfronts.

Anyone who sees Quade or has any information of his whereabouts is urged to contact 000 immediately.
