Police appeal to locate missing boy – Eastern Suburbs

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a boy missing from Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Aiden Ryk, aged 17, was last seen on Gilbert Street, Dover Heights, about 7.40am today (Tuesday 16 January 2024).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Eastern Suburbs Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Aiden’s welfare, as he is non-verbal and lives with autism.

Aiden is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 170cm tall with slim build and brown hair.

He was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, grey shorts, headphones and no shoes.

He is known to frequent local parks and may enter the front yards of properties.
