Police appeal to locate missing girl – Tempe

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a girl missing from Sydney’s inner west.

Jesakiya Clarke-Donovan, aged 12, was last seen in Tempe, about 8.45m yesterday (Sunday 17 September 2023).

When she could not be located or contacted, officers from Inner West Police Area Command were notified and commenced an investigation to locate her.

Family and police hold serious concerns for Jesakyia’s welfare due to young age.

Jesakiya is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, 178cm, slim build and brown hair in a bun.

She was last seen wearing a grey jumper, black pants with pink on lower legs, purple/blue coloured shoes and carrying a red backpack.

Jesakiya is known to frequent the Tempe, Dulwich Hill, Glebe and Haymarket areas. She may also be heading to Macksville on the states mid north coast.

Anyone who sees Jesakiya – or knows of her whereabouts – is urged to contact Newtown Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
