Police are appealing to locate a man missing from the Burwood area.
James Pearse, aged 76, was last seen on Hampton Street, Croydon Park, about 9am yesterday (Wednesday 13 September 2023).
When he was unable to be located, James was reported missing to officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command who commenced an investigation to locate him.
Police and family hold serious concerns for James’s welfare due to him living with dementia.
James is described of Caucasian appearance, between 185 – 190cm tall, of a large build, with blues eyes and grey hair and beard.
He is believed to be driving a white 2000 Toyota Corolla sedan with the NSW registration XBJ542.
Following inquiries police believe he is in the Shell Cove, Dunmore, Minnamurra or Kiama Downs areas.
