Police appeal to locate teen missing from Abbotsbury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from Sydney’s south-west.

Madison Swadling, aged 13, was last seen leaving a home on Province Street, Abbotsbury about 6pm Tuesday 9 January 2024.

Officers from Fairfield City Police Area Command were notified yesterday (9 January 2024), about the teenager’s disappearance and immediately commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for Madison due to her age.

She is described as being of Pacific Islander/Maori appearance, about 160cm tall, of medium build, light brown complexion, with black wavy shoulder length hair and brown coloured eyes. She was last seen wearing a black strapless top, dark denim shorts and black and white sneakers.

While Madison is from Queensland, she is familiar with the Fairfield and Mount Druitt areas.
