Police appeal to locate teen missing from Bankstown

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy currently missing in the Bankstown area.

Mohammed Abukhalifa, aged 13, was last seen at a bus stop on The Mall, in Bankstown CBD about 5.30pm (Tuesday 15 August 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to Bankstown Police Area Command were notified and commenced an immediate search around the area.

Police and family hold serious concerns for Mohammed’s welfare. He lives with autism and has limited communication skills.

Mohammed is described as being of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern appearance, about 160cm tall, of slim build, and with short black hair.

He was last seen wearing a red and black striped top as pictured. Grey track suit pants and black slides.

Anyone who sights Mohammed, or has information into his whereabouts, is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
