Police appeal to locate teen missing from Bexley

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage girl missing from the St George area.

Shaena Militar, 13, was last seen leaving a home in Bexley, about 8.30pm yesterday (Thursday 4 May 2023).

When she failed to return home or make contact with family members, she was reported missing to officers from St George Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to her age.

Shaena is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, of a thin build, tanned skin, and has long black hair.

She was last seen wearing a black ¾ sleeve shirt.

Anyone who may have seen Shaena or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact St George Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
