Police appeal to locate teen missing from Sydney’s West 31 January

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a teenage boy missing from Plumpton.

Mahuta Benedito, aged 14, was last seen on Isles Place, Plumpton, about 2:30pm on Saturday (27 January 2024)

When he could not be located or contacted, officers attached to Mt Druitt Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for his welfare due to his age.

Mahuta is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Islander appearance, about 170cm tall, with a large build, brown eyes and black hair in a mullet style.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
