Police appeal to locate teenage boy from Allawah

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a missing teenage boy from Sydney’s south.

Tahmid Alam, aged 15, was last seen in Allwaha about 8.15pm yesterday (Sunday 20 August 2023).

When he could not be located, officers attached to St George Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

Police and family have concerns for his welfare due to his young age.

Tahmid is described as Indian Sub-Continental appearance, 160-165cm tall, medium build, dark brown hair and dark brown facial hair.

He was last seen wearing a black beanie, a black/white coloured patterned jacket, camouflage pants, black/white coloured Nike sneakers and in possession of a black Nike backpack.

Tahmid is known to frequent the Allawah, Kogarah and Hurstville areas.

Anyone with information into his whereabouts is urged to call Kogarah Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
