Police appeal to locate woman missing from Canterbury

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Canterbury.

Mimo Bey, aged 43, was last seen on Mons Street, Canterbury, about 1.30pm on Wednesday 7 February 2024.

When she did not return and could not be located, officers attached to Burwood Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare, as her disappearance is out of character.

Mimo is described as being of Middle Eastern/Mediterranean appearance, about 160 tall with slim build, shoulder length brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black sunglasses, a white singlet, black three-quarter length tights and black joggers, carrying a green tote bag, and was walking with her white poodle at the time.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
