Police appeal to locate woman missing from Cumberland

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Cumberland.

Xiangshun Jin, aged 60, was last seen at a service station on Merrylands Road, Greystanes, about 6am yesterday (Wednesday 17 May 2023).

After failing to return home – and when she was unable to be contacted – officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Family and police hold concerns for her welfare due to her living with dementia and not speaking English fluently.

Xiangshun is described as being of Asian appearance, about 155cm tall, of thin build, with black hair and brown eyes. She also speaks Mandarin.

She was last seen wearing a red jumper with flowers, a brown hat and carrying a brown bag.

Xiangshun is believed to be in the Greystanes area.
