Whether you’re looking for your first job, considering a career change, returning to the workforce or ready to take the next step in your career, Camden Council’s Camden Careers and Jobs Expo is the event for you.
The FREE event will be held on Thursday 19 November, 9.30am-6pm at Camden Civic Centre, providing attendees the chance to connect directly with employers, explore career pathways and discover study and training opportunities.
There will be more than 60 exhibitors showcasing at the event, offering both employment opportunities and apprenticeships or traineeships. Some of these include:
- NSW Police Force;
- Catering HQ;
- Rabbitohs Institute;
- ADF Careers;
- Carrington Care;
- Teach NSW;
- The University of Notre Dame Australia;
- Western Sydney University;
- Wests Group Macarthur;
- Macquarie University; and
- The University of Wollongong.
For students nearing the end of their schooling journey, the Expo offers a valuable opportunity to explore different industries, speak directly with employers, and learn more about education, training, and career options available after school.
Job seekers and career changers can discover current vacancies listed on our jobs board, build professional connections, and gain insight into opportunities across a broad range of industries.
For the first time, the Expo will also feature a Quiet Hour at 12.30pm. During this time, noise and sensory stimuli will be reduced to create a more comfortable and accessible environment for people who may benefit from a calmer setting.
Mayor of Camden, Cr Vince Ferreri, said the Expo was a great opportunity for people at all stages of their working lives to explore what comes next.
“Whether you’re looking for your first job, thinking about a change in career or wanting to build on the skills you already have, the Careers and Jobs Expo is a great place to start,” he said.
“Having the opportunity to speak directly with employers, training providers and industry representatives can help people discover pathways they may not have considered.
“I encourage our local students, job seekers, career changers and businesses to get involved and make the most of this great opportunity to connect with the local workforce.”
Council would also like to thank Nepean Design and Development, the event’s Bronze Sponsor, for their support of the 2026 Camden Careers and Jobs Expo.
