Police appeal to locate woman missing from North Coast

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the state’s North Coast.

Elizabeth Almageur, aged 30, was last seen on McConnells Lane, Palmers Island, about 1.15pm today (Tuesday 16 May 2023).

When she could not be located, officers attached to Coffs/Clarence Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold serious concerns for her welfare.

Elizabeth is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 165cm tall with medium build, and has purple-dyed hair.

She was last seen wearing a dark hooded jumper and pink, purple and white tie-dye pants.

Police believe she may be driving a silver Mitsubishi Lancer with NSW plates BGO29B.

Anyone with information into her whereabouts is urged to call police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
