Police appeal to locate woman missing from Surry Hills 19 June

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from the Surry Hills/Woolloomooloo area.

Jacinta Mitchell, aged 39, was last seen in Belvoir Street, Surry Hills, about 11.50am on Saturday 17 June 2023.

When she failed to return home or make contact with family members, she was reported missing to officers from Surry Hills Police Area Command, who commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police and family hold concerns for her welfare due to medical conditions.

Jacinta is described as being of Aboriginal appearance, about 160cm tall, of a thin build, black hair and brown eyes.

Jacinta is believed to be in the Surry Hills/Woolloomooloo areas.

Anyone who may have seen Jacinta or has information regarding her whereabouts is urged to contact Surry Hills Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
