Police Appeal To Locate Woman Missing From Westmead 9 March

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly woman who has gone missing from the Westmead area.

Rosita Belgira, aged 77, was last seen on Darcy Road, Westmead, just after 9.00am this morning (Saturday 9 March 2024).

When she was unable to be located, officers from Parramatta Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate her.

Police and family hold concerns for Rosita’s welfare as she lives with dementia and other medical conditions requiring medication.

Rosita is described as being of Asian appearance, about 145-150cm tall, of medium build, with dark short hair and brown eyes.

She was wearing a grey Christian Dior bucket hat with a black band around it, dark sleeveless top with light coloured pattern, dark three-quarter pants, flat purple and white shoes with no socks, carrying a brown paper bag with a green Woolworths logo.

She is known to frequent the Westmead, Wentworthville and Toongabbie areas.
