Police appeals for help to locate woman Jennifer James

Police are appealing for public assistance to help locate missing South Melbourne woman Jennifer James.

The 83-year-old left her home on Eastern Road to buy a loaf of bread just before 11am this morning (1 August).

She then walked to a near-by licenced premise on Raglan Street where she briefly spoke to staff before walking off.

Jennifer has dementia and police and family members hold concerns for her welfare.

Jennifer is Caucasian and described as about 163cm tall with a medium build and short grey hair.

She was last seen wearing a black and white striped button-up shirt, cream pants and black sneakers.

Anyone who sees Jennifer or has information on her whereabouts is urged to contact South Melbourne Police Station on 9257 3800.
