Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are investigating a fatal collision at Balliang this morning.
It’s understood a utility collided with a car on Reddens Road, at the intersection of Bacchus Marsh – Balliang Road, about 5.55am on Monday, 29 November.
The driver and sole occupant of the car, who is yet to be formally identified, sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the utility was taken to hospital for observation and is assisting with enquiries.
Detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
