A cyclist has died following a collision in Lalor early this morning.
It is believed the cyclist was struck by a truck on Station Street, near Newton Crescent, about 12.35am.
The cyclist, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The sole occupant of the truck was uninjured and stopped at the scene to render assistance.
The exact circumstances surrounding the collision are yet to be determined and Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives are on site to assist with the investigation.
