Emergency services responded to a multi vehicle collision in Ledcourt on 27 September.
It’s believed the vehicles were traveling along Western Highway near Mount Drummond Road when two cars collided around 6.45pm.
The two occupants in one of the vehicles, who are yet to be formally identified, have died at the scene.
There were four occupants in the other car, one is in a critical condition, the other three are being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The exact cause of the collision is being investigated by Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives.
Roads in the vicinity will be closed for some time.
