Police are responding to fatal collision in Seville

Police are currently on scene investigating a fatal collision in Seville this morning.

It is believed three cars collided at the intersection of Queens Road and Beenak Road just before 8am.

A female driver of one vehicle died at the scene.

She is yet to be formally identified.

The male driver of another vehicle was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

A man and woman traveling in the third vehicle, a Hilux towing an empty horse float, were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while a child was airlifted to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives will investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
