Police are responding to fatal crash – Bunbury

Officers from the Major Crash Investigation Section are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in Bunbury today, Monday, 21 September 2021.

About 8:30 am, an orange Iveco Bus was driving north on Ocean Drive, Bunbury and two cyclists were travelling north on the footpath adjacent to Ocean Drive, when they were involved in a collision.

The bus driver, a 66-year-old woman, was taken to Bunbury Regional Hospital for treatment in relation to a medical episode.

A 63-year-old woman cyclist died from her injuries at the scene, and a 64-year-old woman cyclist was taken to the Bunbury Regional Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
