Police are investigating a fatal traffic crash involving a four-wheel drive towing a caravan north of Childers this morning.
Preliminary information suggests the vehicle and caravan were travelling northbound on the Bruce Highway when the driver lost control, crashing into a tree at Booyal around 11.20am.
The male driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
