Police are responding to fatal crash in Saint Lawrence, QLD

A pedestrian has passed away following a crash involving a truck in Saint Lawrence today (February 18).

Early information indicates at around 6am the 42-year-old man was on foot in the Northbound lanes of the Bruce Highway when he was struck by a truck.

The man died at the scene.

Anyone with information relating to this incident, or dash cam footage from that area from 4am onwards, is urged to contact police.

Police would also like to speak to a driver (possibly driving a Pantech style truck), who was heading Southbound on the Bruce highway and sent a radio transmission about a person on the road immediately prior to this incident.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
