Police have arrested a man following an investigation into a stabbing in Sydney’s inner west overnight.
About 8pm (Sunday 1 March 2020), a 22-year-old man presented to the Haberfield Ambulance Station, suffering two stab wounds to the chest.
He was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was taken to hospital in a serious condition.
Officers from Burwood Police Area Command established a crime scene at a home in Sloane Street and commenced an investigation.
Following inquiries, investigators arrested a man, also aged 22, at Green Valley Police Station about 10.30am today (Monday 2 March 2020).
Investigations are continuing.
