Police arrest man for crime spree, South Australia

A man has been arrested following a crime spree in the Southern Suburbs.

It will be alleged that at about 5.45pm, Tuesday 7 December, patrols were called to a bottle shop on South Road after a man threatened staff with a knife before leaving with an amount of alcohol.

Just after 8.30pm, Thursday 9 December, patrols were called to a tavern on South Road, after a man threatened staff with a knife in the drive through before fleeing with alcohol.

Just before 2am, Friday 10 December, patrols were called to licensed premises on South Road, after a man entered and threatened staff with a knife before stealing an amount of coins.

It is also alleged that the man attempted to break into two homes on 9 and 10 December at Colonel Light Gardens and Edwardstown.

This morning, Saturday 11 December, Detectives from the Serious and Organised Crime Branch arrested a man a 33-year-old man of no fixed address. He has been charged with three counts of aggravated robbery and two counts of attempt aggravated serious criminal trespass

He has refused police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Monday 13 December.
