A 17-year-old Tarneit teen has been arrested following an alleged incident in Tarneit last night.
It is alleged a gold Nissan Murano crashed into a residence in Penrose Promenade, Tarneit about 11.30pm.
No one home at the time was injured however the house sustained significant structural damage.
Police have been told the driver allegedly reversed away from the house and drove away.
The vehicle was located abandoned a short time later in Inverell Parkway.
Police conducted a search and the teen was located and arrested about 12.20am.
He has been released pending summons to appear at a children’s court at a later date.
